Fall Market Recap
We wrapped our second annual Fall Market with The Mountain Market in Heber City, UT, and it was incredible! We also can’t believe that it was the second go-around of this fun local vendor market. We want to give a huge shoutout to Brittany, owner and founder of The Mountain Market. She has created a space where local entrepreneurs and artisans can come together and showcase and sell their inventory and creations. The Fall Market last year in 2023 was Meraki Collective’s very first market, and we’ve been hooked ever since. We were nervous and excited to share our curated collections with you all in person and had the most amazing time shopping together with you! We are so grateful for that first market and even more grateful to be able to attend it for the second year in a row. So thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for supporting us in our little boutique dream! We wanted to share with you a little recap of this year’s Fall Market Experience.
Connecting with Our Customers
Hands down, our favorite part of any market is connecting with YOU, our loyal Meraki customers. Days leading up to the market, we received DMs and text messages letting us know how excited you were to come see us and what time to expect you. Each message felt like a little hug of warmth and encouragement. We seriously lit up when we saw you walk in and approach our booth! Not only did we get to see some of our returning customers and friends, but we got to meet so many new incredible people. For our new customers and valued friends, welcome!! We are so glad that you’re here and so grateful that you stopped by. For us, being a vendor at a market isn’t just about sales, it’s about the connections we make and the people we meet. We love learning about your likes and interests and how you and your family are spending the Fall and Halloween season. We love laughing together and hearing about what event you’ll be wearing your newly purchased Meraki Collective item to. Don’t forget to tag us in your Meraki items!! We love to see it! Not only, do we love connecting with our customers in person, but we are inspired by each and every one of you. Your feedback and comments on our collections, market set up, pricing, etc. helps us to better your shopping experience and continue to purchase items that we know you’ll love.
Connecting with Local Vendors
Not only are we inspired by our fabulous customers but also by other local vendors that attend the market. These business owners are truly amazing and have created spectacular collections. We’ve met so many creators and have become loyal customers of theirs as well. We believe in them and their products. We also love learning from each other. One of our favorite market neighbors, Bar Z Boutique, is always so fun to chat with and swap business ideas with. This woman is amazing and has some fun Western collections that you have to check out! I’ve personally bought items for all my country concert needs! Triple M Bakery & Sprinkled with Love are our favorite local bakers who keep us well-stocked on treats during long market weekends. Sprinkled with Love also makes my kid’s birthday dreams come true every year with delicious and fun custom birthday cakes! We are customers for life! Another personal favorite of ours and our new bestie is Rings Around the Rosey! The permanent jewelry trend is here to stay, and we are here for it. She has the most elegant and dainty chains to choose from and a fun collection of rings. My favorite piece of jewelry (besides my wedding ring, of course) is my matching permanent bracelet with my daughter from Rings Around the Rosey. These are just a few of the amazing vendors present at this year’s Fall Market. The nursery where the event was held was filled to the brim with talented businesses, from a wreath bar to jewelry, seasonal home decor, gifting ideas, travel agencies, various boutiques, and bakeries, this market was full of variety!
Supporting Local
We are an online business, and we are happy to ship out to any state in the US! We love that we get to connect with people from all over, but we do love that this Fall Market focuses on supporting local businesses. We don’t have a brick-and-mortar store, so this is the only way for us to introduce ourselves and our boutique to the area where our dream was started and originated. Supporting and shopping locally is so important to us. We love this valley we live in and want to see it thrive on small, homegrown businesses. This market focuses on just that. Every vendor there is within a 20-mile radius. We all live and breathe this community and want to contribute to its economy.
Fall-Themed
We are the stereo-typical basic fall girls, and we are not ashamed of it. This Fall Market through the Mountain Market is our absolute favorite because it’s where we highlight our new Fall arrivals and fun Halloween-inspired looks! The setting for this market is also the absolute cutest. Set in our local nursery, Country Garden & Nursery, we are surrounded by pumpkins of every shape, size, and color and seasonal trees and plants. The nursery is decorated for Halloween with spooky skeletons and blow-up Halloween characters. Their nursery shop is full of fun, seasonal things, and they have activities set up for families. It’s the perfect setting for families to come play, eat, and shop. My littles had the best time painting pumpkins and getting their faces painted. Hailey’s little girl loved walking around to look at all the spooky decor and eating food at one of our favorite food trucks, Goochy Goo BBQ.
We had the best time at this market and loved hanging out with all of you! If you attended the market and shopped with us or even just stopped to say hi, thank you! We loved connecting! Tag us in your Fall Market pics or tell us what your favorite part of the market was! If we didn’t see you at this one, we hope to see you at the next one! Happy Spooky Season babes!
